Kitten Faces is an independent buying-guide site about dog and cat doors. We help you pick a pet door that fits your home, your pet and the way you live.
Our readers are mostly homeowners and DIYers. Many have a senior dog, a busy back door or a cat that wants out at 5 a.m.
What we cover
We cover the main kinds of pet doors: sliding glass inserts, cut-in door flaps, wall tunnels and automatic or microchip doors.
We also answer the questions that come before and after you buy. That means measuring, cost, drafts, bugs, locks and getting a door ready for winter.
How we work
We read the specs, sizes and install notes for every door we cover. We compare the flap size, the weight limit, the frame, the seal and the lock.
